Dorothy Campbell

Dorothy joined Capital Pediatrics Group in December of 2000 as an appointment clerk. She was quickly promoted to Appointment Supervisor, a role that also includes managing the Front Desk.Dorothy has been married to John Campbell since 1998. They have 3 children Joseph, Donnie, Nat Lee and 4 grandchildren Esmeralda, Esperanza, Joseph and Lee. Dorothy enjoys spending her leisure time with family, gardening, baking and on home improvement projects. |
Lola Culwell

Lola is the North Office Manager. She was born in the Austin area and raised in Wichita Falls. She joined Capital Pediatrics in 1991 with 11 years of nursing experience. Lola has two children, John and Brandi, and three grandchildren. She enjoys the outdoors, western dancing and spending quality time with family and friends. |
Vernetta Dobbins
 |
Vernetta helps run most of the lab services through the central office. She will visit your child if they need their blood drawn for any reason. And rest assured – she has had more than 25 years experience in phlebotomy. She has worked at Capital Pediatric Group since 2005. Previously, she worked at Scott and White in Temple and Holmes Regional Center in Florida. She loves working with children and has a 16 year old son Khary who is a great football player. |
Karen Dubec

Karen Dubec is a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant. She Joined Capital Pediatric Group in August 1988 serving as Dr Cohn’s nurse. She later served as Dr. Hughes’ nurse before being promoted to her current position of Triage Nurse and Referral Coordinator. She has continued to contribute her expertise in her current position. In March 2009, she became the Team leader of the Night Clinic. She has been married to Frank Dubec since June 1975 and is a proud Mother and Grandmother to her two daughters and two granddaughters. Her interests include spending time with her family, swimming, sewing and refinishing antique furniture. |
Joyce Jordan

Joyce Jordan, LVN is the Nursing Supervisor for Capital Pediatric Group. She has been married to Olden Jordan for more than 40 years and has two daughters. Joyce attended Brackenridge School of Nursing and has been with Capital Pediatrics since 1970, working on the floor with all the Doctors before being assigned to Dr. Maurice Cohn. For the past 25 years, she has been a Triage Nurse. Her interests are Traveling, Crafts and Reading. |
Sarah Kiger

Sarah has been an LVN since 1980 and has worked in Pediatrics her entire professional career. She moved to Austin and joined the staff of Capital Pediatrics in 1985. Sarah has worked many areas at CPG, including Evening and Weekend Nurse, North Office nurse, and Primary Nurse for Milton Talbot and Sandy Treybig. She also served as the co-Nurse Supervisor for many years until she was promoted to Office Manager of the Central Office in April 2008. She has been married to Sam Kiger since May of 1992 and enjoys walking, biking, swimming, good movies and music. Her passion, though, is Texas Football—she is probably the biggest Texas Fan at Capital Pediatrics. Hook Em! |
Dajuana Skidmore

Dajuana Skidmore joined the North Office at Capital Pediatric Group in 2004. She answers the phone, checks you out, and assists you in any other way she can. Dajuana enjoys going to the movies, broadway shows, reading and visiting with friends. |
Joann Martinez
 |
Joann joined Capital Pediatric Group in 2002 where she started off as a cashier and now supervises cashier and after hours and weekend staff. A native of Lubbock, she is the proud mother of one daughter and four grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her grandkids and family. She is the only Texas Tech Red Raider fan on the Capital Pediatric team. She has lived in the Austin area since 1992. |
